EverythingYouMineGlobal Geoscience Index
A free geoscience commons

Every geoscience report on Earth,
on one map.

Search any place in the world and instantly see the geological maps, geophysical surveys, drilling logs and mineral-resource reports pinned to that ground — each linking straight to its real source.

Decades of publicly funded earth science sit scattered across thousands of government, university and agency archives — invisible because nothing connects a document to the place it describes. EverythingYouMine was started to fix that: to give explorers, researchers, communities and the simply curious a single, open window onto what humanity already knows about the ground beneath us. No paywalls. No gatekeepers. Knowledge, returned to the public.

Search any location

Type a place — a country, a district, a mine — and fly straight to it on a satellite, terrain or street map.

02

See what's known

Every pin is a real public report. Click it to read the source: surveys, logs, bulletins, papers.

03

Add & vouch

Pin documents others are missing, and vote to confirm what's accurate. The map sharpens the more it's used.

The mission

Why this matters.

Public geoscience is one of humanity's great underused assets. Making it findable accelerates responsible discovery, sharpens research, and protects communities.

The problem

A geologist evaluating a lease, a student researching an orogenic belt, a regulator checking historical drilling near a village — all face the same wall. The data usually exists and is usually public. But finding it means knowing which survey published it, in which decade, under what title, and where it now lives on some server. Nothing connects a document to its place on the map.

The solution

One index. Every entry is a real, public report — pinned to the coordinates it covers and linked straight to its source. Search a place; see the pins; open the report.

For explorers

Walk into any concession knowing the historical surveys, anomalies and old drill data first.

For researchers

Find the grey literature and government bulletins that search engines bury — pinned to your study area.

For communities

See what has been studied or drilled near you, and hold that knowledge in public hands.

For everyone

Turn fragmented public science into a single, navigable commons — built by the people who use it.

Honest note on the data: The index starts seeded with real national geological surveys and major open repositories worldwide, and grows through real contributions and an automated discovery pipeline. We do not host or fabricate documents; every pin points to a real external source.

Support & follow

Help keep it free.

EverythingYouMine is free and always will be. Donations and a growing community keep it independent — no ads, no data-selling, no paywalls.

Donations are under development.  Secure payments are being set up — follow us below and check back soon. Until then, the best way to help is to spread the word and contribute documents.

Why support

Servers, the geocoding and discovery pipeline, and storage all cost money to run. If this platform saves you time or helps your work, a contribution keeps the commons alive and in public hands.

Follow & share — worldwide

Following and sharing on any platform genuinely helps the mission reach the people who need this data. Links open in a new tab.

We read every message. For data corrections, include the location and document title so we can find the pin quickly.

Contribute data in bulk

Have a catalogue of public reports for a region or country? We can help ingest it — reach out and we'll arrange a bulk import rather than pin-by-pin entry.
